UNK Student Charged With First Degree Sexual Assault

A University of Nebraska-Kearney student living in Mantor Hall has been charged with First Degree Sexual Assault (Class 2 Felony,) Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor (Class 1 Misdemeanor,) and Procuring Alcohol to a Minor (Class 1 Misdemeanor.)

Antony Fallas Torres, 18, was charged in the Buffalo County Court following events that allegedly occurred on October 18, 2020 with a 16-year-old victim.
Details of the event have been sealed.
If convicted, Torres faces a maximum of 52 years imprisonment.
Torres’ bond has been set at $15,000 Cash/Surety. He is due in court again on November 5, 2020. Torres remains in custody of the Buffalo County Sheriff.
