Police presence at Emerson Place Apartments

UPDATE: At of 5:06 PM, the ESU detained the female suspect. The ESU had made entry to the building at 4:00 PM.

At around 3:00 PM on Friday April 17, Kearney Police responded to a call regarding a female armed with a firearm at the Emerson Place Apartments. 

As of 4:35 PM, police, including members of the ESU (Emergency Services Unit) were still on scene negotiating with the female.
