Lammers remains free on bond, allowed to leave Nebraska for work

Jess Lammers, who's been accused of threatening numerous local, state, and federal officials remains free on bond after his most recent court appearance.

Lammers appeared in court on Wednesday May 13. His attorney, Phelps County Public Defender Nancy Freburg, requested that he be allowed to move to New Mexico for work and have his cell phone released from evidence. 

Judge Burns granted the request to allow Lammers to move on the condition that he sign an extradition waiver, meaning that he will be extradited back to Nebraska upon arrest if he fails to appear. Judge Burns also denied the motion to release Lammers' cell phone to him.

Lammers is also allowed to travel to South Dakota to see his children, if he chooses to do so.

Lammers has posted a $100,000 corporate surety bond and is due to appear in court again on July 8 at 1 PM.
