Kearney man charged with producing, possessing child pornography

Robert D Dickerson Jr, 27, has been charged in Buffalo County for possession of child pornography and possession/production/distribution of child pornography.
According to court records, Count 1: Dickerson did knowingly possess any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct which has a child as one of its participants or portrayed observers (Class IIA Felony) and Count 2: Unlawfully did print, copy, manufacture, prepare, produce, or reproduce obscene material for the purpose of sale or distribution (Class I Misdemeanor).
According to court records Dickerson, on social media, publicly shared a video showing a fully nude 17 year old female engaging in sexual intercourse with a male subject, who Dickerson admitted to being himself. He then, according to records, admitted to recording the video and posting it to Snapchat.
Dickerson wrote a letter to the presiding judge while incarcerated. In that letter, he states that he is sorry for any childish acts and disregard for others. He apologizes to the victim and the victim's family. He goes on to ask for mercy for the sake of his future.
Dickerson's bond was set at $25,000 or 10% with the conditions that he have no contact with the victim and have no further violations of the law. He is represented by Jerad A. Murphy from the Buffalo County Public Defender's Office.
Dickerson posted the $2,500 needed to bond out, and remains free on bond.
