Holdrege woman sentenced for stealing money and property from her disabled father.

A Holdrege woman who was previously convicted of stealing over $7,000 and two vehicles from her father was sentenced on June 25, 2020. Court records stated that Flanagan was making unapproved charges to a credit card on an adult novelty website, U-Haul, and other various locations.

Denise Flanagan was sentenced to five years of probation on each of the two counts. The probation terms will run concurrently.

She was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $7,689.60 and to sign the vehicle titles back over to her father.

She was given this sentence even though she was already on probation at the time of this crime and her fleeing the state. At the time of the events, she was on probation for a first-offense DUI in Furnas County.
